Passaic County Sheriff Arrests 8 On Prostitution Charges
The investigations were part of a larger quality of life operation.
PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. — Several New York women were arrested on prostitution-related charges following a quality of life detail by the Passaic County Sheriff's Office Monday.
The quality of life detail was part of a larger operation focusing on illegal activity at massage parlors and hotels that affects county residents' lives.
Undercover detectives posed as potential clients of a Totowa massage parlor on Union Boulevard, a Paterson establishment on Main Street and a Howard Johnson's motel on Route 3 West.

The following individuals were charged:
Yingu Xuan, 60: Promoting prostitution

Zhao Xuemei, 44: Prostitution
Fengqing Zhang, 44: Promoting prostitution
Fengping Zhang, 42: Prostitution
Xiuyun Chen, 35: Prostitution
Tinglu Sun, 40: Prostitution
Maria Bordamalo-Poveda, 30: Prostitution
Daniela Asencion: 38: Prostitution
All the women except Asencion, live in Queens, New York. Asencion lives in Bronx, New York.
The sheriff's office Human Trafficking Unit was available to assist any human trafficking victims.
