Ground Zero Steel Girder Added to Wayne's 9/11 Memorial (tapinto.net) — Wayne's 9/11 Memorial is gaining a powerful new centerpiece: a steel girder recovered from Ground Zero, to be unveiled at the township's 25th anniversary ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026. The service starts at 6 p.m. beside the Wayne Public Library, with road closures on Nellis Drive and a welcome invitation for all residents to attend.

Oct. 18, Over 100 Exhibitors, 551 Valley Rd, Wayne (patch.com) — Wayne residents can browse more than 100 arts and crafts exhibitors at the Wayne Valley Fall Craft Show on Sunday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wayne Valley High School. Brave New Radio Continues Expanding Sports Coverage Adding WP Soccer (wpubeacon.com) — William Paterson students calling Wayne home can now hear Pioneer soccer back on the air, with Brave New Radio resuming live coverage from games played in town. After success with volleyball broadcasts, the station plans 14 men's and women's soccer games this season, all available locally on 88.7 FM and gobrave.org.
