Revolving Sushi Bar With Robot Servers Coming To North Jersey

The all-you-can-eat sushi joint offers "the perfect blend of tradition and cutting-edge technology."

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Japanese eatery that blends traditional cuisine with cutting-edge tech is opening a location in Passaic County.

Shinjuku Station Revolving Sushi Bar is rolling out several new locations in the Garden State, one of which will be in Clifton. In addition to its already-open location in South Plainfield, upcoming locations include Woodbury, Montgomery Township, and Springfield.

Shinjuku Station plans to open its Clifton location in the Promenade Shops at 850 Route 3. The Japanese eatery will occupy a 5,000 square foot space in the plaza, and plans to open later this year.

The nationwide chain is known for its all-you-can-eat sushi options that are delivered to diners via conveyor belt, as well as high-tech, innovative, and kind of cute robot servers.

The establishment offers classic rolls and nigiri, as well as specialty rolls, including the Scorpion Roll featuring tuna, cucumber, crunch flakes, eel, shrimp, and spicy mayo, and the Super Star Roll made up of shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy crabmeat, and eel sauce.

Diners can also enjoy other Japanese cuisine, including hibachi dishes, Ramen bowls, and more.
