School Bus Crash In Wayne Injures Driver, Student: Police
Wayne police said the school bus struck a traffic signal and crashed into a building following the initial collision.

WAYNE, NJ — Two people suffered minor injuries Thursday when a school bus struck two cars before crashing into a building in Wayne, authorities said.
According to a Wayne Police Department spokesperson, the crash happened just before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Black Oak Ridge Road and Pompton Plains Crossroad.
Police said a school bus traveling north on Black Oak Ridge Road collided with two cars that were stopped in the left turn lane. Following the collision, police said the bus also struck a traffic signal before crashing into the front of a building located at 879 Black Oak Ridge Rd.

The building sustained significant damage, according to authorities.
There was one student on the bus at the time of the crash, police said. The student and the bus driver suffered minor injuries. The bus driver was taken to the hospital for treatment while the student was released to her parents at the scene. The drivers of the other two cars were not injured.

All three vehicles were towed from the scene of the crash.
