Two Wayne elementary schools have new leaders.
The Board of Education hired new principals of Randall Carter and Ryerson elementary schools.
Scot Burkholder is the newest principal of Randall Carter Elementary School. He worked in the Plainfield Public School District for 15 years, mostly recently, as an elementary school principal.

“I am excited to be given the opportunity to lead an excellent school like Randall Carter,” Burkholder said in a statement. “I am looking forward to collaborating with all the staff, teachers, and community members to offer the kids an excellent education.”
Debora Foti, the new Ryerson Elementary School principal, is a long-time employee of the district. She was, most recently, the assistant principal of Schuyler-Colfax Middle School.

District officials said in a statement that Foti is looking forward to working with the staff and “the eager learners of Ryerson Elementary to continue to achieve academic success while supporting them socially and emotionally.”
Benjamin Glaz was appointed to be an assistant principal at Wayne Hills High School. Glaz previously worked as a chemistry teacher at Old Bridge High School for 10 years and coached track and field at Monroe and East Brunswick high schools for 10 years.
The board approved the hirings at its July 16 meeting.
Principals were hired to lead A.P. Terhune and John F. Kennedy elementary schools earlier this year.
Dawn Auerbach, a long-time employee of the district and former assistant principal, is the newest principal of A.P. Terhune Elementary School and Kolleen Myers is now principal of John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
Kolleen Myers most recently served as an elementary assistant principal. She was promoted and will now serve as the Principal of John F. Kennedy Elementary.
