Vietnam Vet Doesn't Have A Problem With Athletes Kneeing During The National Anthem: Letter
An athlete kneeling is 'a symbolic statement against violent incidents where lives are lost at the hands of police,' the veteran says.

Athletes kneeling during the playing of the national anthem is not an anti-war protest, it's not a protest against those who serve or have served. It's a symbolic statement against violent incidents where lives are lost at the hands of police.
