Wayne Anti-Drug Alliance Hosting Charity Basketball Game Again

The Harlem Magic Masters will take the court against some of Wayne's own April 12.

WAYNE, NJ —Township residents will face off against the Harlem Magic Masters Friday for charity and to help keep adults, and children, off drugs.

The Magic Masters are playing in the annual charity basketball game sponsored by the Wayne Alliance for the Prevention of Substance Abuse. It is the organization's annual fundraiser.

The game is April 12 at 6 p.m. at Wayne Valley High School.

Program and T-shirt sponsors are needed for the event.

The alliance is a local nonprofit supported by a state grant. It has age-appropriate programs for children as young as 8, teenagers, and adults. Programs include raising awareness about the dangers of mental health stigma and its connection to alcohol, prescription drugs, and other substances.
