Wayne Author's First Mystery Novel To Debut Feb. 26

William Baer's "New Jersey Noir" is a 'fast-moving,' 'gut-wrenching' story.

WAYNE, NJ — A township resident's first mystery novel will be released Feb. 26.

William Baer has written 22 books, including five of poetry, including "The Unfortunates," which received the T.S. Eliot Poetry Prize.

"New Jersey Noir" is described as a "fast-moving," "gut-wrenching" mystery novel based in New Jersey. The novel's opening is at the Great Falls in Paterson.

Baer is a graduate of DePaul Catholic High School, Rutgers University, New York University and Johns Hopkins University. He received a creative writing grant in fiction from the National Endowment for the Arts.
