Wayne Church Hosting Community Forum On Addiction

Wayne detectives will discuss drug and alcohol use among teenagers and how to recognize them.

WAYNE, NJ — Police detectives will host a community forum on addiction and the use of heroin, and other narcotics, and alcohol among township teenagers.

Detectives Mark DuBois and Mike Zaccone, resource officers at Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley high schools, will cover the increasing use of drugs and alcohol among suburban teenagers.

The officers will go over how to recognize narcotics like heroin and marijuana and how to determine if a child may be using one of these substances.

The forum will be at Packanack Community Church, 120 Lake Drive East, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Attendance for Addiction In Our Town: What Every Parent Should Know," is free; reservations are suggested, but not required.
