Wayne Cop Returns From NJ Army National Guard Duty In Syria
Officer Dylan Jones presented fellow officers with the American flag that was flown from his unit's armored vehicle during deployment.

WAYNE, NJ — A Wayne Township police officer has returned home after a year-long combat deployment to Syria with the New Jersey Army National Guard.
And, he brought back a token of appreciation for the support that his fellow shift members showed him during deployment.
Last week, Patrol Officer Dylan Jones presented his fellow officers with the American flag that was flown from his armored vehicle during deployment, along with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Jones is a Captain with the National Guard and served as Troop Commander of Ares Troop, 1st Squadron, 102nd Cavalry Regiment.
"The Wayne Police Department is honored to accept this token of appreciation," officials said. "We are proud of Officer Jones and grateful for his service to our nation."
