Wayne Girl Scout Hosting Internet Safety Workshops
Alyssa Okun will answer such questions as: Who is behind the screen? and How do I monitor my child's online behavior?
WAYNE, NJ — A township high-schooler is hosting a series of interest safety workshops for adults next month.
Alyssa Okun is a junior at Wayne Valley High School. She is hosting the workshops for her community service project for her Girl Scout Gold Award.
Okun will host the following workshops:

Oct. 11: Social media, inappropriate content and who's behind the screen

The workshops will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Preakness School, room nine at 1005 Hamburg Turnpike.
Admission is free. Participants may bring their own devices for a hands-on learning experience.
