Wayne Hills Brendan Devera Commits To Rutgers University
'I want to play against the best and I have the best opportunity to show my talents,' Devera said.
WAYNE, N.J. — Wayne Hills first team all-state linebacker Brendan Devera has committed to playing football at Rutgers University.
Devera reportedly committed to Rutgers just hours after receiving an offer from the Scarlet Knights' offensive coordinator Jerry Kill, NJ.com reported.
Devera told the website that he picked Rutgers "because it's Big 10 football" and he will "get to play big-time teams, and I'm a competitor."
