Police: Wayne Man Charged with Shoplifting from Kohl's
Makfiret Mazari, 54, seen stealing $190 worth of merchandise from Route 23 store.

A Wayne man was charged with shoplifting Monday after police tracked him to his home following an incident at Kohl’s on Route 23.
Officer Robert Franciose responded to Kohl’s at 3 p.m. Monday regarding an alleged shoplifting that had occurred, police said.
Franciose saw Nadi Mazari, 30, fleeing the store and the parking lot in a beige Jeep Cherokee, police said.

Mazari was identified on video taking $190 in merchandise, police said.
Using the Jeep’s license plate, Franciose tracked the vehicle’s owner to 108 Mack St. in Wayne, an abandoned lot where a home was knocked down several years ago, police said.

Police said neighbors told them that the former residents had moved to Kent Street. Detective William Jurewicz positively identified Mazari after he was located at his Kent Street home and charged him with shoplifting.
