Wayne Nursery School Hosting Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser Saturday

Proceeds will help benefit the Packanack Cooperative Nursery School at Packanack Community Church, which was severely flooded last summer.

WAYNE, N.J. — The Packanack Cooperative Nursery School at Packanack Community Church will host a touch-a-truck charity event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is $8 per child. Funds will be used to help revitalize the school following a devastating flood earlier this year that caused thousands of dollars in damage. One foot of water was on the main floor and six feet were in the basement. The school has reopened but is still in need of supplies and equipment.

Parents and children may explore firetrucks from the Passaic County Sheriff's Office, the Wayne Ambulance Corps, and the Packanack Lake Fire Department. There will also be a raffle, games, food, bounce houses, a face painter, and pumpkin painting.
