Wayne Sports Authority Starts Going-Out-Of-Business Sale
Sale running until the end of August, court documents show. The Riverdale location's sale starts Thursday.

WAYNE, N.J. — The Sports Authority stores on Willowbrook Boulevard officially started its going-out-of-business sale Wednesday.
The company is advertising the fire sale of its remaining stock, bankruptcy documents filed in federal court Tuesday showed. The sale is approved to run through the end of August.
The store confirmed the sale had begun Wednesday.

The Riverdale location's sale will begin Thursday, the store confirmed.
The once giant retailer had hoped to sell or close 140 of its locations while re-organizing using Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, but the company failed to find a buyer for the remaining stores and decided to close them all.
