Wayne Students Work With Cars Showcased On 'Classroom Closeup'
The joint high school program hosted a car fair recently with more than 250 vehicles.

WAYNE, N.J. — Students in the school district's Automotive Technology program received scholarships at a car fair they hosted that showcased more than 400 vehicles and was showcased on NJTV's "Classroom Closeup."
The program includes students from Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills high schools. More than 1,000 people attended the fifth annual fair, which gave students the chance to showcase and talk about their work.
The Tri-County Cruisers car club awarded scholarships to students who passed certification tests and completed work study programs. Program alumni spoke about their work in the field. More than 1,000 people attended the fair.

The fair was featured on "Classroom Closeup's" show Sunday and will be featured again on NJTV Jan. 22 at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 7:30 p.m.
