Wayne Temp Agency Must Pay After Not Registering With State: AG
A Wayne business was one of 21 in the state, and several in the county, that chose to pay the state to settle an investigation.
WAYNE, NJ — A Wayne temporary employment agency is one of four in Passaic County, and 21 in the state, paying money after the state said they operated their businesses without registering.
Alliance Sourcing Network, Inc., at 40 Galesi Drive, will pay $2,000 according to a copy of the consent order filed with the state.
The 22 firms offered services ranging from "executive-level employment placements to hourly labor assignments," Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin said. Each agency agreed to resolve the investigation, and were assessed civil penalties ranging from $2,000 to $8,000 each, Platkin said. Related article —

Platkin and the Division of Consumer Affairs announced the settlement Thursday, after a DCA investigation into whether the businesses violated consumer protection laws and regulations — which included the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, and regulations governing personnel services.
The 22 agencies agreed to register their businesses within 30 days of the settlement, said Platkin.

The agencies also agreed to comply with all applicable state and federal laws, to stop engaging "in any unfair or deceptive acts or practices," and maintain annual registration, officials said.
The three other Passaic County agencies who are part of the settlement are NICSAM Personnel, in Clifton; Staff Right Solutions, with offices in Paterson; and Northeast Talent Solutions, with offices in Passaic, Platkin said.
