Your Guide To The Best Corn Mazes In New Jersey

There are a lot of fun mazes to get lost in the Garden State. Here are some of the best we've found.

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — There are plenty of corn mazes and hay mazes to get lost in this fall throughout New Jersey.

Here are some of the best ones we could find, from child-friendly ones to labyrinths that provide adults with a challenge. Some are open at night, too.

  • A. Casola Farms, Holmdel: There is a new 5-acre corn maze every year and at night there's the Corn Walk of Terror.
  • Alstede Farms, Chester: The 10-acre corn maze this year celebrates the 35th anniversary of the New Jersey Devils. There's even a mini maze for kids.
  • Happy Day Farm, Manalapan: The farm is celebrating the 75th birthday. The maze was rated one of the eight "most insane" corn mazes in the United States.
  • Lupardi's Nursery, Closter: Kids can collect stamps from 12 different stations throughout the 6-acre corn maze.
  • VonThun Farms, Monmouth Junction: Kids should love this year's theme: Minions. Choose a passport and answer a question at various checkpoints and you'll be told what way to go. There's also Spookley, a blow-up pumpkin with a special anti-bullying message.
  • Howell Living History Farm, Lambertville: This 250-year-old farm has the longest-running corn maze in New Jersey.
  • Donaldson Farm, Hackettstown: The theme of this year's 9-acre farm is Salute to Our Military. There's a special Harvest Fest this weekend there. Veterans, active military members and first responders with a valid identification will get a free pass through the maze.
