UPDATE: All Clear At Willowbrook Mall After Bomb Threat

The mall was evacuated after a man brought a written bomb threat he reportedly found to security, police said.

The Willowbrook Mall was evacuated and closed Monday night due to a bomb threat, authorities said.

A man walked up to mall security at 8:30 p.m., a half-hour before the mall was to close, with a note stating there were multiple devices planted in the mall, police said. The man reportedly had found the note but threw it out and "had an episode," said Detective Capt. Laurence Martin. The Wayne First Aid Squad took the man to a local hospital for evaluation, Martin said.

Police were not able to verify the note's existence.
