PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. — A Passaic County store sold a $50,000 winning New Jersey Powerball lottery ticket for the July 9 drawing, officials said.
One New Jersey Powerball Lottery ticket matched the five white balls to win the $1 million second-prize for the Saturday drawing. If that ticket had been purchased with Powerplay it would have doubled the prize to $2 million, officials said.
In addition to the $1 million ticket, three other tickets were sold that matched the four white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third prize. The Passaic County ticket was purchased at Center City $.99 Cents Plus Store in Paterson, officials said.
