UCMP's "Latin Night Thursdays" with Soprano María Brea and Pianist Kristhyan Benítez

United Children's Music Project (UCMP) is proud to present Venezuelan soprano María Brea and Latin Grammy–winning pianist Kristhyan Benítez in an unforgettable evening of Latin American artistry as part of its acclaimed Latin Night Thursdays concert series on Thursday, May 28th at 7:30 PM at UCMP, 4710 Park Avenue, Weehawken, NJ.
Drawing from both artists’ celebrated recordings, their Latin Night Thursdays program will feature evocative art songs and vocal works alongside a virtuosic solo piano repertoire. Together, Brea and Benítez will illuminate the cultural nuance, lyrical traditions, and distinctive musical voice of Latin America — from intimate, soul-stirring melodies to rhythmically-charged, technically-brilliant works.
Between sets, DJ Sumeet will keep the energy high with music for dancing, creating a festive atmosphere that extends beyond the stage. Guests are encouraged to invite friends, dress for the occasion, and be prepared to dance!
More than a concert, Latin Night Thursdays at UCMP's Weehawken program space bring together music lovers, artists, and community members for unforgettable evenings celebrating the vibrant spirit and diverse traditions of Latin music — all in support of UCMP’s low-cost music education programs for Hudson County children and youth.
