• Monmouth Cross Country/Track and Field Unveil Incoming Freshman Class (monmouthhawks.com) — Monmouth University in West Long Branch is welcoming 22 new athletes to its men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs, including 21 freshmen and one transfer. Coaches say the class is deep, talented, and poised to make an immediate impact, with the cross country season opening Sept. 4 at the Adelphi Invitational in New York.

• 11 NJ colleges make Princeton Review's 2027 list (njbiz.com) — West Long Branch’s Monmouth University is among 11 New Jersey schools named to The Princeton Review’s Best 392 Colleges for 2027 list, based largely on academics and student feedback. The guide also highlights Monmouth in several student-driven category rankings, offering insight into campus life, politics, and diversity as reported by current students.
