DePasquale amassed an astounding 622 victories during his career, placing him number one among all coaches in Roadrunner history. His 2011 and 2012 teams won back-to-back National Championships, marching through each year’s tournaments with undefeated records. The performances earned DePasquale NJCAA National Coach-of-the-Year awards both years. During his 20 seasons as coach he managed to produce 17 NJCAA All-Americans.

Washington Township High School graduate Katie Lavin was the Roadrunners’ second ever two-time softball All-American, playing centerfield. She starred with the Roadrunners in 2002 and 2003, excelling at the plate, in the field and on the bases while providing exemplary leadership among her teammates.

Marvin Stinson, from Murrell Dobbins Tech in Philadelphia, led the team to its only National Championship in men’s basketball, hitting a 35-foot shot at the buzzer to seal the National Championship Game in 1994. He was named NJCAA Division III Tournament MVP and First Team All-American, helping lead the team to a remarkable 30-0 record during the ‘94 championship season.

Wrestler Dan Calhoun, also from Washington Township High School, had two impressive campaigns for the Roadrunners in 1996 and 1997. He earned NJCAA All-American status each year and holds school records with 37 consecutive victories and the most single-season wins with 39. Calhoun would later move on to the University of North Carolina, continuing his successful wrestling career with the Tar Heels. After graduating, he returned for a celebrated tenure as the head coach of the Roadrunners.

Brian DuBois, from Millville High School, played a key role with the baseball team’s repeat as National Champions at shortstop in 1993. DuBois continued his great play in 1994, becoming the first Roadrunner baseball player ever to be chosen as a First Team All-American.

Oak Crest High School graduate Lisa Jones turned in record setting years in both cross country and track & field, earning All-American honors in cross country in 2006 and 2007 and in track & field in 2007 and 2008. In ‘06, Jones helped lead the women’s cross country team to the NJCAA Division III National Championship. The next year, she earned the NJCAA Division III National Champion in the 3000-meter Steeplechase.

The vaunted 1974 Roadrunner wrestling team produced an undefeated season, finishing 17-0 and ranking number one in the final NJCAA Wrestling Poll. The team became the first in the school’s history to ever win both the Region and District Championships in a sport.

The 1993 Roadrunner baseball team became the second in the college’s history to win a national title. The team’s improbable record of 45-3 became a benchmark of success, holding the record for highest winning percentage for several years. The team went 4-0 in the NJCAA Division III World Series, giving the Roadrunners a perfect series record for two consecutive seasons.

The 1994 Roadrunner basketball team was the only undefeated college basketball team in the country during the ‘93-94 season, posting a perfect 30-0 record. The team’s miraculous run through the 1994 NJCAA Division III tournament included winning baskets in the final seconds of each of its three games.

Family, friends, teammates, past Hall of Fame inductees and fellow team members are encouraged to attend the dinner and share their memories. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by contacting the Roadrunner Athletic Department at 856-415-2207.
