Autopsy Results Are In Following Deaths Of West Deptford Couple

Ryan Coles has been charged with the beating deaths of his parents.

West Deptford, NJ -- A West Deptford couple that was found dead in their home last week died of blunt head trauma, according to an autopsy conducted by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner over the weekend.

The deaths of 58-year-old Edward Coles Jr. and his 55-year-old wife Rosemarie have been ruled as homicides, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office announced.

The findings were consistent with evidence investigators recovered from the couple's Pennfield Drive home when they were found deceased on Friday, the prosecutor’s office said.

He was in the house when West Deptford Police officers arrived on the scene. Police were called to the house by a relative who had become concerned he was unable to reach the couple.
