South Jersey Youth Coach Sent Lewd Messages To 12-Year-Old: Cops
Justin Maska asked a girl at his camp for pictures of herself in her underwear. A video of his court appearance was posted.

A 23-year-old coach and camp counselor from South Jersey asked a 12-year-old girl to send him lewd photos of herself and engaged in sexually explicit conversations with her, according to court documents obtained by Patch. Justin Maska, of National Park, allegedly sent the messages to the girl last week, and was arrested on Wednesday.
The girl was under Maska's supervision when he asked her to send him pictures of herself wearing a bra and a thong, according to a complaint filed against Maska in Deptford Municipal Court.
He also engaged in explicit conversations with her, describing sexual things he would like to do with her, according to the documents. He is being charged with cyber harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, and was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 21. The name of the camp was not disclosed in the complaint.

Maska's attorney wasn't immediately available for comment Thursday afternoon.
He was released pending future court dates following a pretrial detention hearing. He is not permitted to have any contact with the victim or any other minors who are not his siblings, and must check in with the court every week, according to nj.com. (See video below).

Maska is also a youth hockey coach, according to a GoFundMe page he launched earlier this year. He has coached in West Deptford and Bellmawr, and helps run the Gloucester Township men’s league and the West Deptford Street Hockey League.
“Justin gives countless hours of his own time to many leagues around the New Jersey area, the page says. “While he doesn’t have any kids of his own involved, many of the kids he’s coached over the years have turned into people he would consider family.”
He graduated from Gateway Regional High School and studied at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, according to his Facebook page. He is listed as a scorekeeper at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees.
