Child Killed In Crash At South Jersey Intersection: Report
A child died when a driver failed to yield to the right of way, causing another car to smash into hers, according to a report.
SOUTH HARRISON TWP., NJ — A child was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Gloucester County when a car didn't yield to the right of way at an intersection, according to a report.
The crash occurred just before 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the intersection of Harrisonville Road and Route 45, according to NJ Advance Media.
A Bridgeton woman heading east on Harrisonville Road failed to yield to the right of way to another car at the intersection, according to the report.

Her car entered the lane heading south on Route 45, and the other car hit the driver's side rear passenger door of the Bridgeton woman's car, the report said.
The Bridgeton woman had two children in car seats in the back, and one died from their injuries in the crash, the outlet reported.

She was injured, as was the other child, according to the report. The other car's driver, a Salem woman, and her lone adult passenger were also injured, the report said.
According to the report, the crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
