Crashes Closes Route 55, Causes Lengthy Delays In Deptford

DEPTFORD, NJ — All northbound lanes have been closed on a portion of Route 55 late Monday morning because of a crash, officials said.

The collision, reported at 10:30 a.m., occurred just south of Route 42 in Deptford, according to the NJ Department of Transportation (NJDOT). The crash was in front of the Deptford Crossing shopping center and down the street from Deptford Mall, according to NJDOT's map.

Traffic is getting by on the right shoulder, with delays of 10 to 15 minutes, NJDOT says.
