The weather on Saturday morning, March 29, was undoubtedly a preview for the upcoming warm months ahead of us as Deptford Center, the 240-bed skilled nursing facility on Clements Bridge Road in the heart of Deptford, had its exciting Easter Egg Hunt event on the grounds of the facility. South Jersey families and their kids enjoyed the delicious donuts from the Donuts NV truck, which was equipped with all kinds of donuts, coffee, and freshly squeezed lemonade to top off the fun holiday event. Even before the Easter Bunny arrived, who undoubtedly was a magnet for all the kids, the facility had several carnival rides, including a bouncy castle, that even dads and moms enjoyed.

South Jersey kids of all ages loved the Easter Egg Hunt.

"We always strive to be a neighborhood facility, a place where families, when they visit their loved ones, feel comfortable, and an event like this truly defines that," said Assistant Administrator Sam Isaak. "It's all because we have one goal, and that is, for short-term residents, get better and return home and for long-term care, have a comfortable and friendly environment each and every day."

What's an Easter Egg Hunt without a donut truck?

This Easter Egg Hunt kicks off the warm season at Deptford Center, which will host more events throughout the spring, summer, and fall of 2025.
