Who is eligible to register to vote in Gloucester County?

You can register if:

Under the federal Help America Vote Act, new voters registering for the first time are required to provide the last four digits of their Social Security number or their full driver's license number during registration.

How long is my voter registration valid?

Your registration will be valid indefinitely, if you have not moved from Gloucester County or have not been disenfranchised.

Do I have to declare a party?

No, but you can also fill out a party declaration form when registering, if you choose.

What happens if I move or change addresses?

  • If you move within Gloucester County more than 21 days before the election, you have to file a written change of address form with the Office of Elections.
  • If you move within Gloucester County less than 21 days before the election, you'll vote in your new town, ward or district via a provisional ballot.
  • If you move to another county more than 30 days before an election, you must re-register and vote in the new county.
