Get Out: Amadeus, Tiny Art, and Steely Dan
Celebrate Japanese music and art, view original works on a smaller scale, witness the genius of Mozart or catch some local rock talent this weekend.

Looking for something a little out of the ordinary to do this weekend? Here are five totally different venues that are sure to shake things up a bit.
Japan Night
- Where/When: Philadelphia Museum of Art–26th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA. Friday, March 4 at 5 p.m.
- What’s Going On: Witness the unique spectacle of the Japanese music trio Me & Mars as they bring their brand of ambient guitar based music to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Japan Night continues the museum's Art After 5 series as they kick off the 2011 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival. Music sets begin at 5:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. and museum tours will begin at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Art After 5 will also include cocktails, table service and more!
- Pricing: Free with museum admission cost of $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $12 for students with valid ID. Children ages 13-18 are $12 and children under 12 are free.

- Where/When: The Swedes Inn–1301 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, NJ. Friday, March 4 at 8 p.m.
- What’s Going On: brings the jazzy 70s rock sounds of Steely Dan to Swedesboro! This 11-piece band from Pennsylvania is full of seasoned musicians ready to rock. The last time this acclaimed tribute band played at the Swedes Inn it was a sold out show, so get your tickets now.

The Missing Keys & Fifth Nation
- Where/When: Bus Stop Music Café–148 S. Broadway St., Pitman, NJ. The show begins at 7 p.m. on March 5.
- What’s Going On: Local musicians the Missing Keys will bring a mixture of garage rock, blues and jazz to the well-kept-treasure coffee shop and café along with the funky, sultry soul-rock sounds of duo Fifth Nation.

- Where/When: Walnut Street Theatre–825 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA. Friday, March 4 at 8 p.m., Saturday March 5 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- What’s Going On: Come see the last weekend of this Tony Award-winning play! Peter Schaffer’s thrilling masterpiece pits the genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart versus the drive and desire of Austrian court composer Antonio Salieri. This epic battle of wits features some of the greatest music ever composed.

- Where/When: Projects Gallery- 629 N. 2nd St., Philadelphia, PA. March 4 from 5 to 9 p.m., March 5 and 6 from noon to 7 p.m.
- What’s Going On: Many modern art exhibits tend to focus on larger sized works of art, despite the fact that many famous works including the Mona Lisa and Edvard Munch’s The Scream have been smaller in stature. This exhibit features a group of artists “deliberately working in a small format.” Artists such as Elizabeth Bisbing, Vivian Wolovitz, and Craig Cully will have their innovative and sometimes bite-sized works on display to the public. Don’t miss the opening weekend of this event!
