Gloucester County Coronavirus Testing Continues Through February

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — Gloucester County is expanding its coronavirus drive-thru testing site to five days a week and will be running it daily through February, officials announced on Tuesday.

An appointment is required. The sites will open daily at 9 a.m. at the following locations:

Monday and Tuesday
Clayton County Complex
(Public Works Bays)
1200 North Delsea Drive
Clayton, NJ 08312

Wednesday and Thursday
Gloucester County Fleet Management
(Public Works Bays)
141 Glen Echo Drive
Swedesboro, NJ 08085

Friday
Gloucester County Fleet Management

Mantua, NJ 08051

As of Tuesday, there were 5,095 cases of the coronavirus in Gloucester County with 226 confirmed deaths. Gloucester County has conducted 66,570 total tests. Of these cases, 61,475 have come back negative. There were 41 new cases reported on Tuesday. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.

Gloucester County residents 18 years old and older who want to be tested must call 856-218-0300 to be prescreened by Rowan Medicine. Residents do not need to be symptomatic to receive testing. Call takers will be available:

  • Monday and Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon


Callers should have their insurance information ready when they call. Once they are prescreened, an appointment time will be scheduled.

The site is a partnership between the county, Rowan University and Rowan Medicine, the Gloucester County Department of Health and the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management.
