Grab and Go Family Planner: Pirates, Sharks and Rugrats

July is coming to a close, so get out there and make the most of the summer before it is gone. Patch brings you five more family friendly events in the South Jersey area.

Shark Week at Adventure Aquarium

Pirate Magic at Fasola Park

  • What’s Going On:  Bring the whole family out to this sing along
    show with the zany Pirate Magic! Known to entertain kids of all ages, this act will get the fun started for sure.

Nanny McPhee Returns

  • Where/When: Logan Township Municipal Building–125 Main St., Bridgeport. 8-10 p.m. on Friday, July 29.
  • What’s Going On: Gather the family and bring some lawn chairs and blankets to watch the perfect family
    movie Nanny McPhee Returns. A young mother is over her head trying to keep up with a handful of children and an entire farm to run while her husband is away at war. Emma Thompson stars as the Nanny McPhee, the magical supernanny here to save the day! Rated PG.

Kids Stuff and Apprentice Musical Revue

    Memorial Theatre–200 College Dr., Blackwood.
    3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 31.
  • What’s Going On: Come share in the delight of this children’s musical revue, performed by children entering the second though fifth grade. These students have been hard at work over the last five weeks at the Summer Stage performing arts camp programs, Kids Stuff and Apprentice. It’s time for the show of their lives. Will you be there?  
  • Pricing: $12. Seniors, students and children under 12: $9.

Rugrats

  • Where/When: Upper Darby Performing Arts Center–601 N. Lansdowne Ave., Drexel Hill, PA. 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29.
  • What’s Going On: Check out this live action show based on the hilarious Nickelodeon cartoon. Babies Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil and of course, cousin Angelica get into all kinds of adventures when their parents are out of the room.
  • Pricing: Orchestra $9, balcony $8, lower side $7, side balcony $6, $1 off for members
