Grab and Go Kids Planner: High on the Flying Trapeze

Dance with Hercules, ride on the flying trapeze, rock out with Rozz and Val, plant a tree for Arbor Day or have brunch with the Easter Bunny this weekend.

Discover Theatre Presents Hercules

  • Where/When: Garden State Discovery Museum–2040 Springdale Rd., Suite 100. in Cherry Hill, NJ. Noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday April 23
  • What’s Going On: Join the wonderful people at the Garden State Discovery Museum as they present Hercules at the Discovery Theatre. Take a journey back to ancient Greece and relive the wonder and adventures of one of our world’s first heroes! Your kids will enjoy the music, dancing, laughing and singing in this one of a kind experience.
  • Pricing: Free with admission: $10.95 for adults and children 12 months and over, $9.95 for seniors.

  • Where/When: Philadelphia School of Circus Arts–University of the Arts, 320 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA. 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, April 22 to Sunday, April 24.    
  • What’s Going On: Take part in the high-in-the-sky act as part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. Kids and adults alike are invited to learn from the pros at Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) and Fly School Circus Arts (FSCA) 25 feet in the air above Broad Street. Make sure to bring your sense of adventure!
  • Pricing: $55

Earth & Arbor Day Family Festival 

  • Where/When: Camden Children's Garden–3 Riverside Dr., Camden, NJ. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24.
  • What’s Going On: Release ladybugs, get practice planting, build crafts and take part in educational activities at the Earth Day and Arbor Day festival. Spend the day in the beautiful 4.5-acre themed gardens including the Philadelphia Eagles Four Seasons Butterfly House.
  • Pricing: Admission is $6 for adults; $5 for children (3-11). Admission per person at the Aquarium/Garden Gate is $3.50.

Peanut Butter and Jams Welcomes The Rozz and Val Show

  • Where/When: World Café Live–2035 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA. 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23.
  • What’s Going On: Long time friends and musicians Rozz Nash-Coulon and Andrew Vladeck bring their blend of punk, pop, hip hop and ska to the World Café Live for this high energy, fun kids show.  They and their band/dancers “The Hotness Monsters” have been entertaining kids and adults alike throughout the world with their brand of danceable, lively music.
  • Pricing: $10, children $7, children under the age of 1: free.

Easter Buffet with the Bunny

  • Where/When: –729 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 24.
  • What’s Going On: Bring your whole family to this special brunch buffet at the Pop Shop! There will be both an adult brunch buffet (including a ham carving station, scrambled eggs, country gravy and biscuits and much more) and a kids buffet. The Pop Shop will be supplying attendees with spring themed coloring sheets, and the Easter Bunny will be hopping in—so don’t forget your camera! Reservations are required and the event will take place in the party room. If you can’t get reservations the Easter Bunny will also be visiting the main dining room where food will be served a la carte.
  • Pricing: $21.95 for adults, $9.95 for children. No charge for children under 2.
