Looking for a fun way to spend the weekend with the family? Well look no further! Patch once again brings you five new events sure to please the little ones and the big ones at the same time!
The Storybook Ball
- Where/When: Please Touch Museum: Memorial Hall–4231 Avenue of the Republics, Philadelphia, PA. 5:30- 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
- What’s Going On: Come one, come all to the Storybook Ball! Children and their parents are welcomed to wear their favorite storybook based costume at this festive event full of family oriented cuisine, carousel rides, and a performance from the Please Touch Playhouse. There will also be raffles, character appearances, music and dancing!
- Pricing: $40, $30 for members and free for children under the age of 1. Family four-packs are available at $140 ($100 for members).

- What’s Going On: Join established Las Vegas performers Jeff Civillico and Tim Gabrielson as they put on a hilarious two-man show of family friendly humor and amazing feats of dexterity. This engaging duo have brought their brand of well timed, audience participation based humor and tricks around the country, and are now coming to Philadelphia!

Haddonfield Earth Day Celebration
- Where/ When: Crows Woods–1-17 Upland Way, Haddonfield, NJ. 10a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
- What’s Going On: Bring a chair or blanket to sit on and a healthy appetite for nature to this free family event! Enjoy guided nature walks, live music from Spectra Musica Renaissance Consort and Dichroic Glass, a free barbecue at noon, rain barrel exhibits, hybrid cars and more! The first 100 attendees will receive a free seedling weather permitting.

- Where/When: Collingswood Youth Theatre–414 Collings Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 30 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- What’s Going On: The Borough of Collingswood Present Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. live on stage. Witness the music and madcap antics of all of Wonderland’s characters as Dorothy races the Dodo Bird, matches wits with the Queen of Hearts and plays with the Tweedles. This youthful adaptation of the classic Disney movie (adapted from the original book by Lewis Carroll) features songs like "I’m Late," "The Un-Birthday Song" and much, much more!

Peanut Butter and Jams Welcomes Brady Rymer
- Where/When: World Café Live–3025 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA. 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 30.
- What’s Going On: Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could celebrate the release of their CD Love Me for Who I Am with a foot stomping, down-home concert! Their honest, joyful music celebrates children of all abilities and combines a solid rhythm and blues foundation with a healthy dose of traditional acoustic arrangements. Performing songs like “Picky Eater,” “I Don’t Like Change,” and “Who Wants to Wear Shoes?” they spread a positive message and encourage singing along, dancing and having an all around good time.
