Green-Fields Swim Club Clinches Winning Season Over Covered Bridge

The Turtles closed out their Tri-County schedule 3-2 on the year.

Sweeps of first places in four different age groups helped score a convincing win to close out a winning regular season against Covered Bridge in a Tri-County A Division meet Saturday.

The Turtles got all firsts from the 8-and-under boys, the 9- and 10-year-old girls, the 11- and 12-year-old girls and the 13- and 14-year-old boys in the 316-238 victory.

Green-Fields now has to turn it around quickly for the annual Gloucester County Peach Bowl, slated for Tuesday at GCIT, where the team is two-time defending champions.
