Hearing On 113 Cromwell Court Postponed
A new court date should be decided by the end of the day Wednesday.

and residents of Cromwell Court will have to wait a little while longer to find out what will happen with a partially demolished home on the block, after a court date this week was postponed.
The township was scheduled to face off Wednesday morning against contractor Michael Crowley, who moved to , claiming there was asbestos debris being mishandled by an unlicensed contractor.
Instead, that hearing, which was set to be in front of Superior Court Judge Eugene McCaffrey Jr., , will be put off to a later date—though when that is has yet to be determined.

Township solicitor Anthony Ogozalek Jr. said there would be discussions with the court Wednesday to get a new date, and said that decision should come by the end of the day.
Crowley’s been trying since last summer to overturn condemnation and demolition orders on the house, in an attempt to instead rehab the home. after a lengthy hearing at the beginning of February, choosing to uphold a November demolition order instead.

The home’s owners, Robert Schumann and the late Dorothy Schumann, abandoned the home about six years ago, neighbors said, and the property fell into disrepair.
