Here's One Place Kids Can Get COVID-19 Vaccine In Gloucester County
The FDA authorized certain COVID-19 vaccines in kids earlier this month, and CDC promptly recommended that kids receive them.
SEWELL, NJ — The Gloucester County Department of Health will begin administering the COVID-19 vaccine to kids aged 6 months and older on Thursday, according to the county.
"Vaccines are safe, tested and effective tools against serious illness, hospitalization and death," said Gloucester County Commissioner Director Frank J. DiMarco.
Vaccinations will be given at the Gloucester County Department of Health office at 204 E. Holly Ave. in Sewell from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Thursday, the county said.

"Appointments are preferred but not necessary," the county said, adding that people can visit this link to schedule appointments.
On June 17, the FDA authorized the Pfizer vaccine for children 6 months through 4 years of age and the Moderna vaccine for children 6 months through 5 years of age, the county said.

Within hours of that FDA decision, the CDC recommended everyone 6 months of age and older to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
