Kiwanis Club of Greater Woodbury invites public for decades-old tradition
Ninety-Three Year Old Non-Profit Hosts Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser To Benefit Youth
Woodbury, NJ (March 3, 2016)—The Kiwanis Club of Greater Woodbury invites the public to its annual Spaghetti Dinner. Rooted in tradition dating back four decades, this year’s event will take place on March 12, 2016 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Woodbury Child Development Center, 36 Carpenter St. Tickets cost $10.
“We like everyone to have a good time and eat well,” said Jim Meehan, President of the Greater Woodbury Club. “But the real reason is to support the Kiwanis mission of improving youth education, leadership development, and well-being.”
Past spaghetti dinners drew hundreds of people. Proceeds from this year's event will support the projects of the Greater Woodbury Kiwanis in the community, focused on children and teenagers. Active in Woodbury and throughout Gloucester County for 93 years, the club sponsors five Key Clubs at local high schools, and four Terrific Kids programs at local elementary schools.
