With August in our sights, there's still plenty of baseball yet to be played, as both the West Deptford 10-11 all-stars and Senior Leaguers are still in the mix in the Section 4 tournament and District 15, respectively. The 10-11 team opens up the Section 4 tournament tonight against District 13 champion Cherry Hill Atlantic at Rancocas Valley at 7 p.m., with the winner advancing to play Monroe Township tomorrow night at Franklinville. The Senior League squad gets the District 15 tournament underway, facing off against Deptford at home in the first round, with a guaranteed spot in the Eastern Regional at stake. If they win tonight, they'll play Friday and Saturday, with a potential additional game Sunday. The Eastern Regional, in its 21st year in West Deptford, will start Aug. 5, and the District 15 champ is slated to host the nightcap.
