Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Trailer Parked On South Jersey Roadway: Police
The man was brought to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries several days later, authorities said.
QUINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man died in the hospital days after his motorcycle struck a trailer that was parked on a Salem County roadway, authorities said.
State troopers responded to the collision at 10:01 p.m. Saturday on Lawrence Road in Quinton Township. An eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle hit the back of a Pequea Machine trailer that had parked in the eastbound travel lane, according to the preliminary investigation from State Police.
The motorcycle overturned, veered off the roadway to the left and ejected the driver — identified as Peter M. Pino — said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

Pino, 37, of Elmer, sustained serious injuries and was brought to a local hospital. He succumbed to his injuries Tuesday, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation, and State Police had no additional information available.
