It was all business on Tuesday, April 2, when 27 Rowan College at Gloucester (RCGC) students participated in the College’s first annual Alpha Beta Gamma (ABG) Honor Society induction ceremony, an evening set aside to recognize the achievements of those who set goals and work hard.
Educators, parents and friends gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of RCGC’s business students accepted into the ABG Honor Society, a national organization established by business professors in 1970 to encourage scholarship among business and professional students enrolled at two-year, degree-granting institutions. The society, a member of The Association of College Honor Societies, has initiated more than 80,000 members nationwide. To be eligible, members must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average. RCGC currently has 66 ABG members, 27 of whom took part in this spring’s induction ceremony.
This year’s inductees included: Lydia Littles, Evangelista Muniz, Rebecca Cunningham, Lauren Cassady, Natalia Berardelli, Gemma Capps, Kyra Franklin, Kali Rogers, Sarah Forsman, Marikate Costello, Rosita Rivera, Lana Harden, Nicholas Gorman, Shawna Graves, Guesly Pierre, Fahren Rilley, Jake Moore, Ariana Dorrego, Jason Lloyd, Logan Fanrak, Nina Barone, Gillian Cahill, Marissa Mercer, Erika Ferraino, Carlos Batista Diaz, Luke Hansen and Mitchell Peers.
