
DEPTFORD – Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) will host a mosaic jewelry and frame workshop on Saturday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Instructional Center, room 437. The event is sponsored by the Art Educators of Art Educators of NJ-South (AENJ).
Workshop artist Michele Pasciullo will instruct participants on how to make unique mosaic wearable pendants, in addition to creating a small picture frame. She will also display examples, demonstrate techniques and answer questions.
The workshop is open to the public and costs $45 for AENJ members and $50 for nonmembers. A materials fee is built into the price of the workshop and includes a picture frame, two pendant blanks and an assortment of tiles, glass and beads. Grout and cord are also provided. A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. with lunch provided around 12 p.m.
