RCGC to Offer Free College Success Class

RCGC Now Registering for Upcoming College Success Program
Deptford Twp. - The Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) Continuing Education Center is now accepting registrations for its upcoming College Success Program. Beginning in March, the College Success Program will provide students with the necessary tools to transition into college.

The College Success Program is designed to prepare students for college-level math, reading and writing, and to develop basic computer skills. There is also a focus on augmenting study and time management skills. Participants will have access to counseling, academic advising and financial aid application assistance.
There are two course paths available – College Success Math and College Success English. College Success Math will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m., from March 22 until May 12. College Success English will be held every Monday and Wednesday at 6 p.m., from March 21 to May11. An orientation session for both courses will be held on March 14 at 6 p.m. All classes will take place at the Continuing Education Center.

To be eligible to participate in this program students must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, receive a TABE score at an eighth-grade level or above and be a resident of New Jersey.
Registration for both sessions will be open until March 11. The courses are free; however, there is a $10 registration fee.
