RCSJ's Local Programs Receive Global Recognition
The College's core Business Studies programs are now accredited by the international Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs

Rowan College of South Jersey’s (RCSJ) Business Studies students have long claimed their College’s degree programs were among the best in the world. Now, as the Division’s programs receive the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs’ (ACBSP) Certificate of Accreditation, RCSJ’s local programs are achieving global recognition.
Founded in 1988, ACBSP has member-campuses in 60 countries around the world and is the first organization to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs, from associate to doctoral. The ACBSP accreditation process evaluates aspects of college leadership, strategic planning, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials and educational support in making their determination.
“Rowan College of South Jersey has shown its commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer, Dr. Steve Parscale, who presented the Certificate of Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2021 in Miami, Florida, on June 27. “This accreditation is evidence that RCSJ is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students.”

The accreditation covers the Business Studies Division’s core Gloucester-campus programs, including Accounting A.A.S., Business Administration A.S., Digital Marketing A.A.S. and Human Resource Management A.S., ensuring these programs are fully transferrable – course for course – to any of the other 1,200 ACBSP certified colleges and universities around the globe.
“The ACBSP Accreditation sets our business programs apart, signaling a standard of excellence to our community. Most importantly, the accreditation provides students with the ability to transfer credits more easily to four-year institutions and to gain access to a global education network,” said, Dr. Frederick J. Keating, President of Rowan College of South Jersey.
