Rowan College at Gloucester County offering adults an easy college transition
January's College Readiness Program will help former high school graduates in the often tenuous move to higher education.

Deptford Twp. – Rowan College at Gloucester County will be hosting its College Readiness Information Session Wednesday, Jan. 7, giving adults a cost-effective chance to easily transition to higher education.
The free 10-week program equips adult learners to move on to college, preparing them for college placement level math, reading and writing. The program also helps boost college placement scores and provides participants with studying tips, time management and organizational skills, as well as financial assistance.
The College Readiness program is a cost-efficient initiative of RCGC and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development to prepare adult learners for postsecondary educational opportunities. RCGC’s program aims to bridge the academic-readiness gap from high school to college-level education and make the move to college more accessible by providing free, focused professional guidance. To qualify for the program, New Jersey residents must be at least 18 years of age, a high school diploma and intend to enroll into a postsecondary education degree or certificate program.
