Rowan College Hosting Division of Development Disabilties Information Session

The April 21 session will involve the new Fee-For-Service program.

Deptford Twp. – Families of young adults with developmental and other disabilities will have an important opportunity to discover valuable information about the Fee-For-Service System from the New Jersey Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities (NJDDD) during an April 21 session at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC).

The free information session, on April 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the RCGC Instructional Center, Room 430, will specifically detail the brand new Fee-For-Service System. The NJDDD will be changing from the previous contract-based system to the new fee-for-service model, which will shift payments of the program to only occur after service is provided.

On the change, the N.J. Department of Human Services writes: “We know there are many questions and concerns with regard to the Division’s implementation of the fee-for-service system. We are working to improve communication between the Division and its constituents, and to develop materials that will assist individuals, families and providers in understanding the new system.”
