Rowan College To Induct Eight to Alumni Hall of Fame
Famed Dr. Marque A. Allen, team physician for the NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs, to be among honorees.

Deptford Twp. – The Rowan College Foundation at Gloucester County and Alumni Association will be celebrating the astounding achievements of eight distinguished Gloucester County College (now RCGC) alumni, who will be inducted into the College’s Alumni Hall of Fame.
The April 28 ceremony, held at the RCGC Cafeteria Annex from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., will formally induct: Dr. Marque A. Allen, John Borelli Jr., Joanne A. Carrocino, Gene J. Concordia, Brian W. Jones, Arun S. Lavine, Frederick “Michael” Sharp Jr. and Barbara A. Wallace.
NBA fans may recognize one particular name on the list; Dr. Marque A. Allen. A Rowan and Temple University graduate, Allen has earned prodigious accolades as an expert in podiatric medicine and as a consultant/team physician for the San Antonio Spurs, as well as San Antonio’s WNBA affiliate the Silver Stars, and the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage.
