The third annual six-race 5K series runs every Monday night from July 11 to Aug. 15, varying between the <a href="http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=243499" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">cross country course at the park</a> and a road course that rolls through West Deptford Park and the nearby industrial park. <ul> <li>July 11–cross country course</li> <li>July 18–road course</li> <li>July 25–road course</li> <li>Aug. 1–road course prediction run–the winner is the one who closest predicts their time, with no watches allowed.</li> <li>Aug. 8–road course staggered start–runners will be handicapped according to ability level.</li> <li>Aug. 15–cross country course</li> </ul> Registration starts at 6:15 p.m., and each race kicks off at 7 p.m. While the races are no frills–you won't score a free t-shirt or a medal for winning your age group–they're a bargain for adults at $5 per race, or $25 for the entire series. Kids under 18 pay $3 per race, or $18 for the entire series. Proceeds from the Summer Series benefit the West Deptford High School cross country team.
