South Jersey Dentist Busted, Kept Hidden Camera In Bathroom: Cops

The hidden camera was discovered by a woman who was using the bathroom, police say.

A New Jersey dentist was arrested Wednesday and charged with keeping a hidden camera in his bathroom – which was discovered by a woman who was using it, police say.

Robert Hofstetter, 69, of Mantua was charged with invasion of privacy after a female employee discovered the hidden camera in the Washington Township bathroom at 4:30 p.m., police said.

The woman was accompanied by other females employees when she made the discovery in the employee bathroom, police said.

After information was provided to police, Hofstetter was arrested and charged. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Hofstetter runs Hofstetter Family Dentistry, which is located at 400 Ganttown Road in Sewell. He started the practice in 1978 and, according to his website, "has seen the growth and success of this community."

He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in pre-medicine. He then graduated from Georgetown School of Dentistry in Washington.
