The weather went from ugly to brutal in Clayton for the opening round of the District 15 Junior League softball tournament. West Deptford and Gibbstown got things started and heavy, gray clouds, but with Gibbstown leading, 3-0, a lightning delay after about 40 minutes of play initially suspended the game. It wasn't long after that when a downpour left the field looking more like a water polo arena than a softball diamond. With conditions deemed unplayable, the game's conclusion has been pushed back to tonight.
